The Interdisciplinary Graduate and Research Academy Düsseldorf (iGRAD) is your portal to structured PhD
education at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf in
Germany. iGRAD will offer several services and advice all around the PhD study at our faculty for, PhD-
Students, PhD-Supervisors and coordinated PhD Programs. *** PhD students who are not members of
structured PhD programs can become iGRAD members together with their supervisors and can benefit from
iGRAD-services. *** To coordinated PhD programs (like graduate schools, research training groups and
collaborative research networks) iGRAD offers the benefits of an umbrella institution, supporting its member
institutions with centralized organization structures, and support in fulfilling modern standards of structured
